FOR RUST SERVER OWNERS
Wipe day shouldn't feel like a second job.
RustPanel runs your wipe day start to finish, scores every player so cheaters surface before the reports do, and posts your mod log straight to Discord — one panel for every server you run, on the host you already have.

Wipe-day chaos
It's 6:55pm on wipe day. You're juggling FTP, a countdown macro, and a Discord announcement, praying the server comes back before the queue forms.
Autopilot announces the countdown, saves, shuts down, deletes the map files, and confirms the fresh map is live — in-game and in Discord. You watch it happen from your phone.
Cheater whack-a-mole
“He's cheating, spectate him” — five reports, zero evidence, and the guy's profile is private. Meanwhile he's farming your playerbase.
Every player gets a risk score: fresh Steam account, ban history, K/D spikes, kill rate. The suspicious ones surface on a watchlist with reasons — you spectate the right person first.
Moderation in the dark
Slurs in global at 2 AM, and the mod log lives in whoever-was-online's memory. Your mod team finds out tomorrow, maybe.
Keyword rules auto-flag chat, every ban and kick posts to your Discord mod-log channel the second it happens, and mute/kick/ban is one click from any device.
WIPE DAY AUTOPILOT
Your wipe runs itself. You sleep in.
Arm it once and RustPanel runs the whole ritual: countdown announcements in-game and in Discord (24h out to 5 minutes), a clean save and shutdown at T-0, map and blueprint files deleted per your policy, then it verifies the server came back on a fresh map and tells your players. Every step lands in an audit log — and there's a dry-run mode that walks the entire sequence without touching a thing.
- Countdown ladder: in-game + Discord
- Map or map+BP, force-wipe calendar aware
- Dry runs, abort button, full audit log
PLAYER INTEL
Spot the cheater before your regulars do.
Every player gets a risk score built from what your server sees — K/D, kill rate, how fast they started fragging after joining — enriched with Steam account intel: account age, VAC and game bans, private profiles. The suspicious ones surface in a Worth Watching list with plain-English reasons, so you spectate the right person instead of scrolling a 200-row player list.
- Fresh-account + ban-history signals from Steam
- Worth Watching list with reasons, not just numbers
- One click from suspicion to spectate-ready profile
DISCORD INTEGRATION
Your mod log lives where your community does.
Paste one webhook and RustPanel posts it all to your Discord: every ban and kick as it happens, chat your auto-flag rules catch, wipe countdowns and completions, restarts and queue locks. Four toggles, per server. Your mod team sees the 2 AM ban from their phone — nobody has to be logged into anything.
- Bans, kicks & mutes to your mod-log channel
- Flagged chat with the message and who said it
- Wipe announcements your players actually see
PLUGIN MANAGEMENT
Your plugin stack, without the roulette.
A catalog of the Oxide plugins you already run — Gather Manager, Kits, Clans, NoEscape — installed straight from uMod over your host's own file access. Works with Shockbyte's SFTP gateway out of the box (we learned its quirks so you don't have to). Edit live configs in the panel with validation, hot-reload on save, disable without uninstalling.
- One-click install from uMod
- Live config editor with hot reload
- Shockbyte & Pterodactyl SFTP supported
UNIFIED MODERATION
Every report, one queue.
Global and team chat in real time, with keyword rules that auto-flag toxicity and ad spam. Mute, kick, or ban from the same row — no alt-tabbing to an RCON client to type a SteamID by hand. Every action is logged against the player's profile and mirrored to Discord.
- Keyword auto-flagging you control
- One-click mute / kick / ban
- Full moderation history per player

FAQ
The questions admins actually ask.
Does this work with my existing Rust server hosting?
Yes. RustPanel connects to any Rust server over WebRCON — the same protocol every RCON tool uses. If you can point an IP, port, and RCON password at it, it works: Rust server hosting providers like Shockbyte or GTX, a dedicated box, or a VPS you manage yourself. Plugin management and wipe automation also use your host's SFTP/FTP — including multi-server gateways like Shockbyte's, which we support out of the box.
What does Wipe Day Autopilot actually do?
Arm it and RustPanel runs your scheduled wipe end to end: countdown announcements in-game and to Discord (from 24 hours out), a clean world save and shutdown at wipe time, deletion of the map — and blueprint files if that's your policy — over your host's file access, then it waits for your host to boot the server, verifies the fresh map, and announces it's live. There's a dry-run mode that walks every step without touching anything, an abort button during the countdown, and a step-by-step audit log for every run. The map seed comes from your host panel's startup settings — change it there any time before the wipe for a new layout.
How does the player risk score work?
Each player is scored from signals your server already sees — K/D with a minimum sample size, kill rate, how quickly they started dominating after joining — combined with Steam account intel: account age, VAC and game bans, days since last ban, and profile visibility. High scores surface on a Worth Watching list with plain-English reasons like “Steam account 9 days old, K/D 11.0.” It's a triage tool that tells you who to spectate first — bans stay your call.
Oxide and Carbon?
Both. The plugin manager detects which framework your server runs and shows compatibility per plugin in the catalog. Mixed networks (some servers on Oxide, some on Carbon) are fine — plugin state is tracked per server.
Do you need my RCON password?
Yes — that's how the panel issues commands, the same as any RCON client. It's encrypted at rest (AES-256), never written to logs, and you can rotate or revoke it anytime. We recommend setting a dedicated RCON password just for RustPanel so revoking it doesn't break your other tools.
Will this add lag to my server?
No. RustPanel runs entirely off-box and holds one WebSocket connection to your server — the same footprint as leaving an RCON client open. There's nothing to install on the game server and no plugin required.
What shows up in my Discord?
Whatever you toggle on, per server: every ban, kick, mute and unban as it happens (your mod-log channel), chat caught by your auto-flag rules with the message and player, wipe countdowns and completions, and server status changes like restarts and queue locks. It's a standard Discord webhook — paste the URL, RustPanel sends a test message to confirm, done.
Can my moderators use it without full access?
Yes. Invite team members with the Moderator role and they see Console, Chat, Players, and Support only — no wipes, no plugin changes, no billing. Admins get everything except billing. Every action is attributed in the audit log.
What happens on force wipe?
Set a server's schedule to “Monthly (force wipe)” and RustPanel tracks Facepunch's first-Thursday calendar automatically. With Autopilot armed, the whole wipe runs itself — countdown, shutdown, map deletion, verification, announcements — timed to your configured hour.
